Drink more water!

Need help drinking more water? 💦 It’s sooooo important for us but yet few people hydrate enough to truly meet their body’s needs.

Over the past several years, I have really worked on this and now I am nailing it! 🥳 But it didn’t used to be very easy for me…that’s for sure. 😬 I used to drink a lot of diet sodas, coffees…any type of flavored beverage. But now I simply add a few drops of my favorite citrus essential oil and enjoy the delicious water. (And if you are missing the fizz, simply add your essential oil to sparkling water...delicious!) The oil not only enhances the flavor but it also offers tremendous health benefits! For example, two of my favs are Lemon and Tangerine and here is why:

🍋When taken internally, Lemon provides cleansing and digestive benefits and supports healthy respiratory function. 🍊And like other citrus essential oils, Tangerine oil helps support a healthy immune system. Because it contains powerful antioxidants, this oil is awesome when you want extra support for your immune system.

When people ask me about having more energy, losing weight, feeling better…one of my very first questions is always “how much water do you drink daily?” I highly recommend following the guidelines of drinking half your body weight in water daily. But if that feels overwhelming, you start with adding an extra glass, then another glass, and so on. You simply take steps in the right direction! Your brain is 95% water…I don’t think any of us want to deprive our brain, right? 🧠😬
